PREPARING FOR THE SURGE IN AI AIDED CRIMES

AI is accelerating cybercrime, scams, and fraud at a speed few experts predicted or expected. The scale, accuracy, and plausibility that AI brings means more criminals, more crimes, and more victims. And most consumers are still not prepared. We want to try to change that.

A NEW URGENCY
The goal of the Center is to research all the ways AI is changing cybercrime and scams, and translate that research into actionable steps any consumer can and should take.
IT'S ABOUT RESILIENCE
A key focus of the center is on the psychology of crime. Understanding how human behavior is exploited to commit these crimes, and the psychological and emotional impact on victims.
THERE IS GOOD NEWS
Fighting AI assisted crimes doesn’t mean learning any new skills or tricks. It’s about practicing all the good hygiene habits you’ve been told about for years, just doing them better and more often.

MEET SOME OF OUR ADVISORS

They’re all volunteers, and all with long histories in fighting and investigating cybercrimes and scams, and supporting victims.

Think of it as a force multiplier

Two of the most vulnerable groups to cybercrimes and scams are teens and the elderly. What if we could help protect both by teaching them to watch out for each other?
